Chemical & Allied Products Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL) was set up on March 28, 1958. The Ministry of Commerce, Government of India and Trade and Industry have jointly sponsored it. CAPEXIL was registered under the Companies Act as a non-profit making body. It was set up in order to facilitate the export of chemical based and allied products and it also acts as an interface between government and industry.
